2012 Proton Preeve Review and Specs

Forget 'the handsome' Proton Neo. Proton has recently launched their latest sedan, called Proton Preve. The car that was launched yesterday on 17 April 2012 1.6 liter engine brings CamPro Turbocharge CFE, and 1.6 liter normally aspirated Campro IAFM + (non-turbo), with a choice of five speed manual transmission or 6-speed CVT and CVT 7-speed Protronic.
1.6 liter engine equipped with a turbo CamPro CFE low pressure that can generate power up to 138 hp with maximum torque of 205 Nm. While the 1.6 liter engine IAFM CamPro + can generate power up to 107 hp with a torque of 150 Nm is smaller. In the land of the Sultanate of Malaysia, the car is priced starting from RM 59 540 or about USD 178 million to the most expensive RM 72 990 or about USD 218 million.

Given the dimensions of which reach 4543 mm length, then Preve class with Toyota Corolla Altis and Honda Civic. Preve even longer than the Corolla Altis (4540 mm) and Honda Civic (4525 mm). He was also wider than the Civic and Altis (1785 mm Preve Altis vs Civic vs 1760 mm 1755 mm).

Preve claimed to be an important product for Proton in proving their ability to develop high-tech cars. "Preve is a stepping stone for Proton. This car is a new, higher standard for Proton in terms of safety, quality, ease, and convenience," said Datuk Seri Syed Zainal Abidin, managing director of Proton.

The other good news is, Preve Indonesia is likely to greet customers in June 2012 that will come. On price, the Proton Indonesia was still shut up. I hope not much different.
