Ford EcoBoost Fiesta 2014 launch in the U.S.
At the Los Angeles Motor Show, Ford introduced customers home 2 versions of the Fiesta in 2014 and will use the new EcoBoost engine.
Open two new models to help Ford wide grossing Fiesta line, while increasing the ability to compete with EcoBoost fuel-saving and environmentally friendly.
Ford Fiesta 2014 with 1 liter EcoBoost three-cylinder.
Ford Fiesta 2014 standard edition life, both the sedan and hatchback, use 1 liter EcoBoost 3-cylinder 123 hp and torque of 200 Nm. Ready vehicles sold in the European market, while U.S. customers have to wait until the end of 2013. However, auto-shut-start the engine only on the European version that Americans must suffer.
With estimated fuel consumption less than 6 liters per 100 km with 5-speed manual gearbox, the Fiesta seems to become "non-motor vehicles the most fuel-efficient hybrid sold in North America." Consumption on the current version of Fiesta SFE is 6 ltr per 100 km highway.
Ford Fiesta ST
In addition to the new engine, using less gasoline, Fiesta upgraded version also connected to SYNC and MyFord Touch equipped with a new 6.5-inch touch screen Sony HD radio.
Sports version Fiesta ST uses EcoBoost 1.6-liter 4-cylinder engine producing 197 hp and torque of 290 Nm. 6-speed manual gearbox. Fuel consumption of around 6.9 ltr per 100 km. Sports style shown in the appearance through dual exhaust pipes and 17-inch wheels. In addition, the suspension system has been redesigned and upgraded brakes.
