Chevy have managed to squeeze in 138 horses into a 5-door hatch and they call it the 2013 Sonic RS. It will make it’s public debut at the 2012 North American International Auto Show and will go on sale in late 2012. The RS comes painted in either Victory Red, Summit White, Cyber Gray Metallic or Black Granite Metallic. Expect zippy performance from the Ecotec 1.4L turbo engine that puts 200Nm to the front wheels.
It’s matched with a 6-speed manual transmission or 6-speed automatic.
Chevrolet Sonic RS exterior features include a new front and rear fascia with new fog lamp design, RS-specific grille, a rear spoiler, rocker moldings, unique mirror cap finish, retuned sport exhaust with chrome tips, 17” 5-spoke wheel design, stiffer and lower suspension and dampers and ofcourse a plethora of RS badges.
