Mercedes GL 63 AMG unveiled with a biturbo V8 engine

This is the first attempt by AMG to create a spin-off using the GL-Class but that has not stopped the tuning arm from pushing it to its limits!
The GL-Class was revealed at the New York Auto Show in early April and since then fans of the three-pointed star have been waiting for the first ever AMG edition of the GL-Class. Mercedes recently previewed it by releasing photographs and details.
At the heart of the Mercedes GL 63 AMG lies as 5.5-liter V8 biturbo engine that makes 550bhp of power and 760Nm of torque.

The power is delivered to the wheels using an AMG Speedshift 7-speed automatic transmission and a permanent all-wheel drive system.
The volcano under the bonnet gives the full-size SUV the ability to sprint from 0-100kph in 4.9 seconds and accelerate till an electronically limited 250kmph.
The performance variant is distinguished by aggressive bodywork. A large air intake sits on the front fascia and a quad-exhaust arrangement beefs up the rear.
